Perhaps location was a teeny bit far from echo land town when walking with ski gear and kids to shuttle buses and supermarket. Would hire a car next time.
AUThe location is outstanding and views from each room special especially as it was snowing in December.
The beds were very firm and could benefit from mattress toppers. A selection of pillows, pyjamas and slippers would also be beneficial. Surprised that there was no dishwasher or knives which was perplexing.
IDLoved this not so little chalet hidden amongst the snowy trees. An easy walk to restaurants & a short drive to a huge choice of excellent mountain ski slopes - we will be back!
INThe hosts were extremely helpful, they helped a group of 6 get to the house with all our luggage. Hiroko even stopped at a convenience store so we could pick up what we needed. The house itself was well equipped with perfect heating, comfortable beds, all the equipment you need in the kitchen, a laundry section with a full dryer. The views were just like in the photos. It was a great choice, we were super glad we chose this place. It was a good break on our otherwise busy trip through Japan.
