This was a beautifully renovated apartment, located in a great position for exploring the old town of Jaen, with the added bonus of underground parking on-site at no extra charge. The kitchen was very well appointed and had everything you might need for dining at home, as a change from restaurant dining.

We understood that the apartment was new to the rental market, which may explain a couple of small maintenance issues, e.g. the basin in the independent bathroom wasn't working, although this wasn't an issue for us, as we used the ensuite bathroom to the main bedroom. In the en-suite bathroom there are a couple of items that need to be attended to in order for it to be perfect, i.e. the shower head needs to be mounted on a rise and fall rail to cater for different height of guests. Also, there was only one towel hook, just outside the shower cubicle, mounted very high on the wall. It would be good to have at least one more hook on that wall, preferably at a lower height. The hanging shelf unit inside the shower would be better replaced with fixed, corner shelving at a more appropriate height. The current arrangement makes it difficult to use products stored in it. None of these small issues spoiled our overall enjoyment of a superb apartment.
