The host is very kind and attentive without being intrusive. It's immaculately clean and located just off the main area. The poolside is a very nice place to spend an evening and the water is so fresh. The spa is worth a go to. Breakfast selection on the menu was excellent with good food. Some people on here were critical of ordering from the menu the night before. I found this organised, efficient and saves so much waste. Overall a very relaxing atmosphere with plenty of quiet time to hang out between adventures.

So there is roadworks just outside the hotel at the moment. This was very worrying when I first arrived but it actually didn't effect my stay at all!! I am an extremly light sleeper and senstive but I didn't hear them at all. Granted my room was at the back but the concern I had was completely unnecessary. I read some reviews on here saying the view from upstairs balcony was bad like a building site. I would like to point out that these are people's homes. I spent some time on my balcony and saw local residents coming out there and going about their lives. Have some respect just because it's not up to your standards. If you are looking for built up area with pristin hotels and resorts or are happy for multinational corporations kicking locals out of their homes then it's no place for you.

The hotel is very charming: elegant, clean and cosy. Giovanna is an excellent host always there but also discreet. She cared for my dietary needs (celiac disease) so I could enjoy delicious and safe breakfast every morning. The location of the hotel is also great: close to the bus station and main place but in a quiet place. I couldn't recommend enough!

Great location, walk to bus station and old town with restaurants, etc. Giovanna was very helpful with everything. The pool was lovely, and breakfast was perfect.

We stayed at 5 hotels on our visit to Malta and Gozo. This property is a hidden gem. It has a beautiful roof top pool and sun lounging area, as well as a basement gym and spa facilities. We stayed at this property for 2 nights and the room was lovely and clean, spacious, great bathroom facilities and with the added bonus of a balcony. The location is within very easy walking distance of Victoria’s bus station, Saint George’s square and the citadel, yet in a very quiet location. The owner Joanna was simply lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel has been beautifully refurbished to a very high luxury standard.

If you were staying for any longer length of time, then the pre booking of your breakfast the night before might become an issue, bur we didn’t find this an issue on our short stay.
