Das Hostel ist in einer super Lage und die Mitarbeiter und Besitzer sind einfach mega, als ich krank war haben sich alle total lieb um mich gekümmert und nach mir erkundigt, außerdem hab ich die von Ihnen organisiert Wüstentour gemacht, was ein total schöne Erfahrung war 🐫

Great experience for backpackers. Enjoyed it thoroughly with my friends. I would recommend if bunch of friends traveling together looking for flexible travel plans. This is the place.

A gem of an hostel. Everything from location, architecture, to the hospitality of the owners, to the rooftop & food, was perfect. They helped me plan my trip around Rajasthan by sharing a lot of local insights, and their non-touristic safari in the Thar desert was very relaxing and I loved it. Thank you for being so kind & making your guests feel so comfortable !

My stay at Open Road Hostel in Jaisalmer was truly unforgettable. The location is perfect — just a short walk from the iconic Jaisalmer Fort, and the rooftop view of the fort is absolutely breathtaking.The hostel team was incredibly kind, hospitable, and friendly, making me feel more like a family guest than a traveler. They shared great local tips about what to see and where to go in Jaisalmer, helping me explore the city beyond the usual tourist spots.One of the best parts of the stay was joining their non-touristy desert camping trip. It was an incredible experience — spending the night under a million stars, surrounded by peaceful dunes, and enjoying tasty local food prepared fresh on-site. It felt raw, authentic, and magical.Everything about Open Road Hostel — from its cozy vibe and delicious food to its warm-hearted people — made my Jaisalmer trip one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine and unforgettable stay in Jaisalmer.

The place is great, location is great, the vibe of the hostel is really cool and the owners Vivian and Aparna are really friendly and lovely. Aside from going to great efforts to make me feel at home they also organised an overnight desert safari/camp which was beyond incredible.
