Open Road Hostel and Cafe

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Open Road Hostel, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, the staff and the owner made me feel incredibly welcome with their warm smiles and attentive service. What truly sets Open Road Hostel apart is its exceptional attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction. Every staff member I encountered went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The Food was pretty great and everything was made from scratch which takes time. Their kadi pakoda was really tasty like it was made at home.

I have stayed at the property earlier too. Wonderful hosts, polite and professional staff, excellent location. It is the best option for budget travellers with a wonderful vibe around. Recommended.

Amazing stay ! Everything was perfect, from rooms to café to the friendliness and help of everyone around. The safari organised by Vivian was very good, as authentic as it can be, with a beautiful night under the stars, in the desert.

Open road (Titanic) is a perfect example of how a hostel should be, Although its a hostel Vivian and Aparna will make you feel like its a homstay, there is plenty of indoor and outdoor sitting space to chill and relax so in the night you can either sit near bonfire and have a good time with other travelers or sit inside if you want to work/study. Dorms were clean and had all the necessary amenities. The biggest highlight of the stay was Jaisalmer desert safari! The best safari one can have!! 4x4 ride, Camel ride, delicious food and sleeping under the stars 🤩!!! We had so much fun During the whole safari which was organized by Sandy and his Lead Camel named Al Pacino😂 I 100 percent recommend this hostel and desert safari.

Hot water timing was like 6am-1pm still it was sometimes available sometimes not.

The Open Road is the perfect place to stay in Jaisalmer, offering a variety of accommodations to suit every preference. The food is absolutely delicious, and the hosts are incredibly welcoming. The staff is friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. The terrace is a wonderful spot to unwind, relax, or even get some work done in peace. Staying here is just as enjoyable as exploring Jaisalmer itself! Choosing this place for my stay was definitely the best decision, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting. I stayed with them for eight days and got to meet great people and have even better experiences, I can’t wait to return soon—thank you for suchh a memorable experience!

Such a great place to stay. The whole hostel was clean and had a really nice vibe to it. The food from the rooftop café/restaurant was amazing. Vivian and his wife were lovely - super helpful and very accommodating. Umesh and the rest of the staff were great. Can't recommend it enough.
