Cebu Club Fort Med Resort

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our recent stay at the Cebu Club Fort Med in Boljoon, Cebu was incredibly disappointing. For the premium rates they charge at PHP 4000 per night, you expect a certain level of comfort and service. Instead, it was a disappointment. The Room & its Facilities (Low Value for Money) The "standard" rooms are shockingly bare. Zero Amenities There is no TV and no mini-fridge. For the price per night, not being able to keep a bottle of water cold especially during the summer is unacceptable. Most sanitaryware in the bathroom like the toilet bowl, the faucet, and the shower head are almost all broken and old. A replacement of these would improvw the overall look and feel of the rooms. Plumbing Issues The water supply was incredibly weak, often trickling down to a faint drizzle. Worse, the bathroom drainage was completely backed up, leading to a flooded bathroom every single time we took a quick shower. When I reported this issue to the reception team, they could only provide me wooden broomstick and had to brush the floor myself to clear the flooding. See images for reference. Service & Reception Unfortunately, the reception team was incredibly poor. We reported the flooded drain and the water pressure issue twice - first by approaching the reception, second, by leaving a message through their Facebook page and through Booking.com but our concerns were met with zero urgency. The response only came the next day late in the afternoon, after I again reminded them of the issue. This place has massive potential because of its location, but the management needs to invest more in improving the facilities (especially inside the rooms) and train their staff. Make every penny worth it.

Wifi var under renovering og det gav lidt vanskeligheder når vi søgte efter begivenheder osv.

Tranquil ambiance. The beach is good for snorkeling. It has lots of fishes. Quality of food is superb. Kudos to the chef! Room was upgraded from Standard to Deluxe free of charge.

Lacking amenities like electric kettle, mugs and bidet. Intermittent internet connection. Resort is understaff especially in the restaurant, waiting for the food is quite long.

The place is big and peaceful. Good for an off the grid vacation because wifi isnt that strong and phone signal is not working much. Perfect to keep your mind out and away from the concrete jungle. Very relaxing. Food is great as well! Room was spacious. no refrigerator or TV tho. not sure with other rooms. Bathroom is clean.
