A Lovely apartment near Railway station and Arena.

The location (10 minutes uphill from the station) is good and the surroundings are quiet. There is a nice little garden where you can sit if there are no residents already enjoying it. Because of the space-saving, you need to stand on steps to operate the microwave oven.

The windows (on the street and garden sides) can only be opened a little (presumably for security reasons), which is a drawback in hot weather. It would have been nice to have an electric fan to keep cool. There is limited space for hanging clothes and there are no drawers, which means you have to live out of your suitcase on the floor. The shower, toilet and small washbasin have been fitted into a tiny "room" (120 x 130 cm) but all worked well for me - a larger broad-shouldered person might find it challenging to shower.

Many electricity sockets, which is great! Good location, nor far from city centre. Train station and grocery stores are within walking distance

A well planned small space. We could walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. The bathroom looks to be relatively new and functioned well … but small. Not sure if a man over medium size could manage in bathroom space.

The mattress on lower bunk was too soft and difficult to manoeuvre in and out of with partners who require nocturnal trips to the toilet. The mattress on the upper bunk appeared to be of better quality … but with configuration of steps neither of us were willing to try getting down and up again during the night. No info provided regarding waste management. It snowed before we arrived and consistent with places we were in Norway and Finland … sidewalks, entrances were not shovelled, plowed or de-iced.

Super cozy! Had everything you need. Easy to find & get in, good instructions from the host.
