Villa Canberra - Seminyak

It’s located half way between both Legian and Seminyak main strips and easy access to all areas by scooter

Management had delayed and poor communication. Property was dirty and dated in need of updating. But the main issue was how slippery everything was. I slipped and fell 3 times and my wife once on wet tiles around the pool as well as the front entrance steps. In wet season everything is wet and slippery… I reported breaking a glass from slipping and the only reply I got from management was to thank me for being honest about the breakage and please pay us 100,000 idr to cover the damage… considering the cost of the Villa I would of thought a broken glass was just part of the cost of doing business ( I was very lucky no injuries were caused from the slippery surfaces but all they were interested in was the glass payment ) I would not recommend this place if you are older , or have kids

Everything was great - easy check in /out - professional staff specifically dede was super helpful and supportive during our accommodation. -location is nearby all the seminyak shops and restaurants - rooms are big enough and bathrooms are clean too - housekeeping every day and they’re very quiet. - swimming pool is good and clean - Air-conditioning are good cool enough during hot weather in bali -all kitchen stuff are available

Convenient location. Just off the main road (Jalan Seminyak), short distance down a gang/lane. Good lighting outside entry and security guard (although we didn't see him). Close to nice restaurants and small eateries. Plenty of tattoo parlours and spas for massages or manicure or pedicure nearby. Villa had great air-conditioning, which was well received after being out all day. Spacy rooms and kitchen/dining area. Microwave, juicer, coffee percolater, good size fridge, gas hotplate, and bottled water supplied. Big screen TV. Round table and 4 chairs as well as coffee table and lounge/settee.

Lounge was uncomfortable as too deep to sit on for people with short legs. Needed extra cushions to support my back so my feet could reach the floor. The glass coffee table was hazardous and luckily had safety corners on edge. The swimming pool had too much chlorine or chemicals as it turned my silver rings black and stripped the colour from bathers. Our eyes stung when we put our heads under the water. Steps are very big/deep. It is difficult to get out of the pool with no handrail. Tiles around the pool were extremely slippery. Would have been good to have a rack or hook to hang wet towels on or to dry clothing. Access to 2nd bedroom is a bit hazardous, especially if it is raining. The only access is to walk around the pool on a narrow slippery path, which had a deep puddle outside the door after the rain. A ladder had been left in the corner, restricting the path safely to the 2nd bedroom. We had to carefully walk past it as when it rained, the tiles were slippery. Would have been nice to have a pool noodle to float on. Cactus needs cutting back as juts out on narrow path by pool. The bedrooms were big but had no built-in wardrobe, only a metal rack and wire shelf. Large mirror and a desk was good. Bathroom big and long. There is plenty of room but only a small vanity. Could have a bench or shelf built to put toiletries on. Vanity was small and small rack for towels. There is plenty of room for an extra rack, which could be used to dry beach towels or wet bathers.

Location was perfect, near supermarket, number of restaurants around the villa. Swimming pool was good and being nicely maintained.

Villa had mosquitos and made our nights restless. Wall tile fell down in kitchen and skirting came off in bedroom, villa need proper refurbishment. Both bedrooms are separate, not connected.You have to come from living room to open yard for entering to other bedroom. No curtains in living room.

The villa was in close proximity to many cafes, bars, spas, the beach & lots of shopping. The bedrooms & bathrooms were a good size.

Local dogs barking in the middle of the night.

the huge king sized bed was great except the mattress was hard as a rock. Not good for my chronic shoulder pain I’m afraid. perhaps a less extreme feel more like a medium feel, would suit more people.

Nice location, clean, friendly staff, nice touch of colors and good design, comfy beds

In the room on the right the ac was loud and leaky after some use. The shower pressure is a bit low.
