Luxury Hotel-Style Room in Queens, New York

我们这次参加纽约马拉松，在这里住了两周。位置非常好，坐火车30分钟就可以到曼哈顿，周边超市餐馆都很近，去法拉盛坐Q13半个小时到。附近沿海的步道景色优美，非常适合跑步。房间的设施也很完备，我们经常使用厨房做饭和洗衣房洗衣，感觉都很方便。房东也非常的友善，帮我们解决了很多问题。

It’s a beautiful home and the grounds are nicely landscaped. Plenty of amenities in the kitchen, if you plan on cooking. Plenty of private space to visit with friends. I felt very safe in that neighborhood and it wasn’t nearly as congested as Flushing! There was private parking off the street. The host was very nice and responded quickly to messages!

I would like to see a mirror in my bedroom and maybe a small trash container in there also. Other than that, I was very pleased with my surroundings.

Attached photos Filthy stove Hot water pot not working n no paper towel Dish soap bottle empty sink dirty esp drains Red plastic cups with 2 small flies landing on our cup as we tried to have breakfast on the island of the kitchen they were flying all around the kitchen area Coffee bar had no coffee pods near empty sugar no cream and water dispenser was blinking red no water coming out luckily we thought to bring our own bottled drinking water. It was not luxury It was not clean We were locked out from 10 to 11pm because of the system of only 1 key to get into house and locking the house when leaving. We followed instructions leaving key in lockbox but next guests TOOK THE KEY WITH THEM when they went outside so when we arrived we couldn't open the front door and almost drove back to our home out of state. I contacted host. It took an hour to fix the issue. We were really very upset with the condition of the place and regretted not booking at a hotel instead. Never again!!!!!!

Belle grande cuisine et tranquille. Beaucoup d'espace.

Malheureusement, la chambre n'est pas très bien insonorisée du son des autres chambres.

The house is located in a clean, safe and quiet area, with frequent buses that help you to get to Manhattan. House is equipped with all you need, from kitchen items to bathroom cosmetics. Staying in the single room, you can also enjoy basement facilities with large couch and gym. Charlie is a lovely and caring host who does his best to accommodate your requests. Made the solo trip to US feel like home!

It is a prime residential neighborhood and walking distance to a grocery store and nearby restaurants. It is close to the Fort Totten Park which was a good surprise and it is worth to be visited. MTA bus Q31 takes you directly from/to Jamaica station (the last one using Jamaica Air Train from JFK). Just be aware that the comute from/to Manhattan takes around 1 hour by bus + subway, but it worth. Charlie, the host, is very nice and friendly, always willing to help you and he really makes you fell “at home away from home” as he use to say as well other guests.

Great time staying here from England. I have friends in the area so this is perfect for visiting. Charlie responded to any questions really quickly and was super helpful!
