Großartige Küche . Ein sehr französisches Hotel . Ein tolles Hotelgelände mit großem schön gemachten Pool. Das Hotelpersonal ist angenehm freundlich , hilfsbereit und Kosmopolit eingestellt. Großartig.

Es hat uns alles gefallen. Auch unser Zimmer. Aber die Zimmer liegen in einem Gebäudetrakt , welcher einem Motel ähnelt. Das bedeutet , wer die Türe des Bettenzimmers aufmacht steht auf der gekiesten Terrasse des Hotels.

The location is stunning and the food at dinner was truly exceptional.

At 26€ there could be more choice at breakfast.

Die Standardzimmer sind sehr klein und waren muffig. Die Anlage des Hotels ist schön, wird aber nicht so gepflegt… der Rasen im Garten ist ausgetrocknet, der große Pool hat keine Sonnenschirme.

Staff very friendly and attentive and nothing too much trouble. Quality of food was excellent, particularly dinner with fine dining level. Good choice of wines. Atmospheric dining room and eating on the terrace was lovely. This quiet rural location is a good base for touring villages in the Dordogne. Room was quiet and comfortable with good sized bathroom .

This was our second visit, after several years, and sadly we missed the Sommelier and the serving of cheese from a full cheese trolley which made a true French experience at dinner. One step the hotel could look at, is to invest in a heating system for the pool. I could not use it because the water was too cold for me ! Also too many children and their noise ! I was disappointed in the level of cleaning of the room - the floors were not mopped or glasses not washed daily. We noticed that the hotel seems to be gearing itself towards a more family orientated hotel. At one point there must have been between 10 and 12 children in proportion to a maximum of 30 adults, which is not great for couples looking for a quiet stay.
