Angel's View Cottage Ella

The hotel has only one room, which I didn’t realize at first. It has a nice view and is located in a peaceful area, making it a good choice for those who are looking for quiet and relaxation. Large vehicles cannot easily access the property—I mistakenly tried to enter with a PickMe car and it was a bit difficult. However, the owner arranges tuk-tuks on request, so it’s possible to reach the town center that way. At night transportation was not easy, so I had to stay at the hotel. The owner was very kind and attentive; breakfasts were always on time. He also helped me get water and we had a pleasant chat together. The room had a fridge and hot water, and both the room and the bathroom were clean.

On the downside, the bed sheets and linen were not very clean, and the towels looked quite old—it would be much better if they were replaced with new ones. The bed was also squeaky, which made it a bit uncomfortable. Since the hotel is in a rural area, there were a lot of mosquitoes, which can be unpleasant, though the mosquito net works well. Overall, I would recommend it for those seeking peace and quiet.

Heel mooi uitzicht, mooie en ruime kamer, erg vriendelijk personeel. Goed ontbijt op een tijdstip naar keuze.

De weg naar de cottage is er uitdaging (erg steil en soms alleen maar zand en steen). Geen fatsoenlijke weg. De wifi viel soms uit. Ook midden in de nacht wakker door een beest (leek wel in het plafon te zitten). Maakte veel herrie.

The location omg! What a view. I'd come back again and again! Breakfast mainly half a loaf of bread and fruit, but still good. Hot water! Fridge and everything i needed. So private and scenic.

Wifi did not work the entire stay after saying multiple times it wasn't working. Bit annoying. Huge language barrier with the host. He tried his best but still frustrating. Leaking bidet in the bathroom meant the floor was always wet and flooded, he tried to fix it. Also, note, this property is up a hill! mainly tuktuks use. so you will be charged 700 rupie+ every time you want to go back and forth to the town. It adds up. 1km walk, but at 11pm with no street lights it's dangerous walking alone. expect bugs as your in the jungle. Also, I got a reference from him for a personal tour guide, don't. He fwd me a kid who didn't even live in Ella, then said i never paid him the full amount agreed on! I hate liars. i paid him a months wages and he wasn't even a great tour guide! He had to ask a local every 5min. Oh and the bed frame is soooooo squeeky!! Needs to be fixed. Any movement was an orchestra.

The view is amazing and the fridge was really nice.

The bathroom needs some maintenance.

Great and comfortable room with amazing views, just like in the pictures. Plenty of food at breakfast and really nice staff. Just a short walk to the center, although the path is a bit steep.

As there’s always room for improvement, a couple of tea bags or instant coffee next to the kettle and mugs would have been great. :)

المناظر الجميلة والهدوء العالي والجلوس بين الغابات كان شي جداً جميل ، بساطة المكان وحسن الضيافة كانو جيدين

الذباب والحشرات كانو موجودين بكثره وهاذا شي طبيعي لانك حرفياً بين غابه دريشة الحمام كانت مفتوحة وهاذا ما سهل دخول الحشرات ، الواي فاي ما كان يشتغل ابداً رغم تكراري لهم ، الكهرباء انقطع ف اخر يوم وجلس من الصباح حتى المغرب ممكن لحسن الحظ اني ما كنت موجود

The host was available when I arrived and showed me around the room.

The view was perfect, it is really quiet place, amazing breakfast, if I needed anything, they helped me (laundry, breakfast at certain time).

They could let more tea/tea bags in the room. Otherwise perfect :-)
