Isla Verde Apt- Beach, Pool & Family Getaway!

Not much. Pool was nice and the beach (which has nothing to do with the property.

A lot. Rusty gates, no cold water in bathroom sink, exposed outlets with no plate covers, filth on window sills, chipped paint on the balcony railing, dirty windows, exposed registers behind couch (which me moved to look for a working outlet) my son got yelled at because he was wading in the small pool that they said was for children. The pool was empty except for us. There was not a sign anywhere saying for kids only. Filth behind the bed and an old baby bottle. Again we had to move the bed to try and find a working outlet. No outlet in bathroom. Pictures on the internet are deceiving. There was a rug folded up on the balcony but I was charged $100 for hanging a towel on the railing. The house rules I was given said nothing about this. They sent me rules after the fact where they added nothing was to hung on the railing. Couldn’t open patio door because the curtain rod was in the way! Curtains wouldn’t open fully. But that was ok after we saw the filthy windows. No water pressure in the shower. Holes in the floor that looked like bullet holes. I wore white socks and after 10 min they were dirty. Headboards not attached to the beds so when we tried to move the bed to get to the nonworking outlet, they practically fell apart in my hands. I’m sure there is more but I think you understand the terrible experience we had!

Lamentable me cancelaron la reservación 20 minutos antes de hacer el check in, donde había hecho esa reservación con anticipación por tener menores y me dieron una excusa no creíble, indicándome que me habían enviado un email en la mañana que nunca recibí donde ella alegó que no había agua en el sector y no era cierto. Lamentablemente con estas personas así uno pierde la credibilidad

Nada que indicar, nunca me hospedé por irresponsabilidad de la anfitriona, fue muy irresponsable

The location was good

Some nights there was no electricity and on our last night no water.

Did not got any breakfast, I love the location,the amenities , the beach.The A/C unit kept the temperature nice and cool, the unit was super clean and smelled good. Easy access to parking and the security guards were great, gave us all the information we needed, very friendly.

Sleeping couch was terrible, impossible to sleep on, very uncomfortable. We had no water to shower the day before our flight back home, so we were not able to shower after all day at the beach. No snorkeling equipment or beach chairs available at the unit, we had to rent those at the beach.

I liked the studio beach front. Was very close to everything and very convenient to stay. Barely had to use the rental car to get around

Centric area. But disappointing experience.

My stay was a complete disaster. There was a power outage during part of my visit, and the property had no backup power, leaving me without basic utilities. I have a sleep apnea machine that I couldn’t use due to the outage, which made the situation even more difficult. The electric stove was useless, forcing me to eat out, and the pool was closed. The lack of power made it so hot that I was sweating, and it felt like being in a sauna. When I complained, the owner brushed it off, saying it’s ‘normal’ for tourists in tourist areas to deal with these issues and that the property isn’t equipped to handle them. They even blamed the power outage on Luma, the energy company, instead of offering a solution for what I had already paid for. While the property is in a convenient, central location, the poor management and lack of basic amenities made my stay unbearable. I strongly advise against booking here unless you want to deal with avoidable, frustrating issues that no guest should ever experience.

The unit didn't have electricity and water when we entered, so I called the host and he said the entire area did not have electricity while I could see lights in all units around this one. When I checked with building security they kept insisting there was no power outage. When I finally checked with the building admin they said the host did not pay their electricity and utility bill and the electricity and water was disconnected for that unit. I expected a better honest response from the host than just bluffing that it is power outage. In the end, I was offered another location but that had only two beds and one of us had to sleep on a small couch for three nights. Even in that unit the toilet was draining slow and after one day it clogged completely. I had to rush to a hardware store to get a plunger to fix it as the host did not offer any help after repeated requests. I was promised a partial refund for all the troubling I faced in both units and never got that refund.
