We had 2 bookings before and after Acatenango. The room we‘ve stayed in the first time was so tiny we could barely move if both of us were in the room at the same time. Also there was this really loud noise coming right above our room from the water pump. But when I told this to the staff they were very helpful and let us stay in a different room. The beds are quite old and uncomfy and the room we’ve stayed in the first time the linens were so thin it felt like we were sleeping directly on the matress. The second time we stayed there, the room (nr 12) was still small but very ok, no noise from the water pump and we had propper linens.

Location and price make this a really good value find. It’s nothing fancy or special in terms of the rooms and facilities but certainly not bad. And the staff are very friendly.

Bed was a little hard and sheets were quite thin (we could see through to the mattress).

It is very close from the city center, you can walk everywhere. Staff is very nice. Wifi works well

The room is super small, pictures look better than the actual room. Beds are not too comfortable. We had an incident in the bathroom, due to the pressure of the water in the morning the shower broke. The quality of the toiletries in not the best either.

The location was superb. They have coffee and tea available for the guests. We got access to a terrace with nice view of the volcano.

I found a dry dead cockroach in the sheets. 😐

I loved the 90s country music playing in the lobby. Tea and coffee was always free! The rooms were a good size. You have free access to the terrace, and 5 USD permission to nearby pool.

The beds were cardboard! The pillows were like box stuffings. The showers should be either bleached or redone.
