Expansive 5-bedroom house

We stayed in this large 5-bedroom house with our family of 10 for the weekend. The space was fantastic for a big group, very spacious with a lovely big kitchen that made catering easy. Our host was wonderful, always polite and quick to assist, she even brought extra blankets when we mentioned the cold.

There are a few things to note for future guests: the bedrooms don’t have lockable doors (and the main bedroom has no door at all), and one downstairs room isn’t fully private and you have to come out of your room to go in your bathroom. There are several entrances to the house and no garage doors, so keep security in mind. The beds and couches could be more comfortable, and the bathrooms don’t have shower glass, which means water can spill onto the floor. Towels and toilet paper are limited, so it’s a good idea to bring extra.

We really enjoyed our time at Magalies Edge with the family. The dining area was nice and big, so we all had plenty of space to eat and chat together. The kitchen was well-equipped and made cooking easy and fun. Every bedroom had its own bathroom, which was perfect for our family reunion and gave everyone privacy. Since it was winter, we didn’t use the pool, but the indoor braai was perfect — cozy and made for some great evenings. The host was super friendly and helpful, which made everything easier and more enjoyable. The house had everything we needed and felt just right for a relaxing family break.

The only small thing we didn’t love was that the lighting in the room closest to the kitchen could be better. Also, the plugs were a bit far from the mirror, so an extension lead would help when blow-drying hair and using the mirror. But it wasn’t a big issue at all.

Wonderful, large space. Big enough for a family reuion for everyone to have their own rooms. Great kitchen and dining room table for special family bonding time.

Nothing really , I was just a bit disappointed that the house had no hot tub as specified on Booking.com either than that the place was perfect

The place was very nice and comfortable,like a home away from home ,it had everything everything we needed and more ,from kitchen utilities,bathroom and the cerenity of the environment,safe and secure,cleanliness was amazing ❤️❤️❤️👌😎
