The Piggery at Little Pig

Absolutely nothing bad to say about Little Pig. Our lodge was beautifully clean and tidy. Lovely bed linen, towels and a lovely added bonus of the biggest bed we’ve slept in! Emma the host is easily contacted and was always around to help out and her lovely well kept planters are just stunning 🤩 Highly recommend Bude beach natural swimming pool for keen or novice cold water swimmers. My Mum and I recently enjoyed a wonderful weekend getaway at The Piggery, a cozy cabin near Bude, and it was everything we hoped for and more. The cabin was incredibly easy to find, with quick access to Bude, yet it still offered a peaceful and quiet retreat despite its proximity to the main road. The location was truly stunning - words don’t do justice to the sunset we witnessed during our stay. Even though we were blessed with beautiful weather, I can imagine the cabin’s charm shining through on a cloudy or rainy day too. The cabin itself was well-equipped, making our stay comfortable and convenient. We loved having separate bedrooms and bathrooms; it was a great touch for our Mum-and-Daughter weekend away. Another highlight was the breakfast at the café. The food was lovely, and the staff were warm and welcoming, making the experience even more memorable. I’ve already been raving about our weekend to friends and family, and I’ll continue recommending The Piggery to anyone looking for a peaceful escape. We’re already planning our next trip back- can’t wait!

One small suggestion would be to provide a few more pillow options—the current pillows were comfortable, but we found two to be a bit much and one not quite enough. It’s a minor detail, but it could enhance the overall experience even further.

It was all great no complaints at all

The Piggery has lovely decor, is cosy but with plenty of space, the kitchen had everything we needed and the open plan living room / dining area and kitchen made it fantastic to be altogether as a family. It was super clean, the beds were comfortable and perfectly furnished. Great communication from the owners and the added touches of tea, coffee and hot chocolate were fab. We also loved that the Little Pig restaurant was next door, which was handy for breakfast and lunch.

There was nothing we didn't like and would highly recommend staying here.

This place was delightful, extremely clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our yearly girl trip. Have already booked for next year. The owner was exceptional,great communication, and friendly. Not far to shops, beaches etc. Great parking and great farm shop with breakfast. Would highly recommend.

Nothing first time we’ve booked this type of accommodation and we were not disappointed. Emma the hostess friendly and helpful made us feel welcome.

Everything! A beautiful peaceful location, but very close to bude and surrounding beaches. Accommodation was super clean, beds really comfortable and overall excellent value for money. We broke down on the way, and Emma was incredibly helpful and even offered to drop us off anywhere we needed to get to. She had contacted us prior to arrival and arranged our teenaged sons room as a twin room rather than double, which was very helpful. Our children loved the smart tv’s in both bedrooms, as well as the lounge. And we adored watching the sun go down on the spacious decking. Property in this area can be VERY expensive and super disappointing, but the piggery have got it spot on. A beautiful place, with amazing hosts, a great farm shop/cafe/restaurant next door, all feeling like great value for money.

Nothing. We visit this area regularly and we have at last found the perfect place to stay. Somewhere clean and homely, and not over priced. We can’t wait to return.
