The location is absolutely perfect—peaceful and serene, surrounded by beautiful countryside, with horses as the neighbours (pun intended!). The cottage is thoughtfully decorated and exceptionally well-equipped, with everything we needed and more. The hosts also left a lovely welcome pack of snacks and drinks, which was a really thoughtful touch. The large back garden was a wonderful bonus; we made great use of the outdoor furniture, and our little dog loved having plenty of space to run around. It's only a 20-minute walk into town, making it the ideal balance of tranquility and convenience. We absolutely loved our stay and would happily return in the future. Highly recommended!

A lovely stay to kick off the school holidays. The cottage is spacious and has everything you need to make it a home away from home. Feels very secluded but is only a 20 min walk or 5 min drive into Ripon. The garden is so peaceful and we spent a lot of time relaxing and nature spotting out there. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely well presented, clean property. On the edge of Ripon over looking fields. Ideal for country folk like us over looking countryside but near the amenities.

Took us a while to figure out how to get e ough hot water for 4 adults in a morning.
