Douglas was there to meet us with the keys, other than that he left us alone, even though he lives next door. Could have been a nightmare but he wasn’t. Exceptional level of finish in the property. Quality fixtures & fittings. Very clean, excellent location with parking for 2 cars. Garden very tidy. Allows well behaved dog too.

Electric charging point cost seemed excessive. No exact way to say what was used & the cost of that. Bearing in mind I used Tesla superchargers travelling from Leeds at cost of £42.00 (two charges) & I used charger at the property once to fully charge & one half charge. Cost £65.00. The use of it is offered so should be properly calculated & charged accordingly.

The property was in the best location, right next to the bus stop and a 15 minute walk to either Carbis Bay beach or St Ives. The property was clean, fresh and perfect in size for what we needed. Douglas was an incredible host, very friendly and took the time to show us around and made us feel really at home.

There wasn’t anything really! For some they might find the road a tad noisy, but we didn’t find it too loud or annoying and it’s a small price to pay for such a perfectly located house.

Sweet little cottage, appeared to be very clean on arrival

-Noise from the road, made worse during night as there was no air conditioning in bedrooms, so windows needed to open as far to hot, boy racers on road during night. -Tesco deliveries all day starting very early although this is not the owners fault it could be mentioned on the description of the cottage. -Owner lives next door with cameras watching all the time, 150+ personal pictures in property, also owner clothes, this made the cottage feel very uncomfortable. Too many personal items/references. -No hoover or cleaning utensils. -No laundry basket too carry wet clothes from second floor to first. -No mirrors other than bathroom mirrors. -Rooms too small, beds having sharp corners, bruises not appreciated, loft space was dangerous, low ceiling and beams, bathroom window velux caused head injuries. mattress in loft was disgusting when stripped upon leaving, bodily function stains from previous occupants, removed mattress protector as a standard practice mattress protectors are a membrane between the sheet and the mattress that soaks up excess sweat from going through to mattress hence to keep the mattress clean in my opinion, this should be changed every time a new holiday maker stops at the property, but the owner suggested when breached that this wasn't something they did. Also no pillow protectors. -No privacy in garden and was overlooked by the passing buses on the main road and there is well used path running to the back of the property, could do with high trees, Not fully secure for dogs. -Parking was terrible had to reverse onto the main road/roundabout to get off. Parking space provided was unusable due to large amount of bird poo.
