Umaid Desert Camp, Raisar

The location and the swimming pool.

Though they have listed ac rooms and we paid for ac room, there was no ac from our check-in at 7 pm To 8am the next morning. After 1 short hour of ac, the property disconnected all electricity till 11am. The fan wasn't effective and keeping the windows open invited hordes of mosquitos. The night was a terrible ordeal, compounded by the really tasteless breakfast in the morning. The water pressure was non-existent. After each flush, the tank took nearly 40 mins to fill up again. Imagine 2 ppl staying there. The rooms are terribly small and is swarming with lizards and small insects.

Nice experience to stay in a desert camp. The served local dishes for diner and breakfast were tasty! The owner was friendly and helped us with everything!

The rooms were OK but dont expect the same like a regular hotel. The location was nice but not as remote into the desert as we expected.

Location, amenities,staff were v good. Omkar supervisor was v helpful

Extremely Friendly and courteous nature of staff (with Resort owner himself), they arranged a charging facility for our electric car in nearby area where grid was available as this camp was fully on solar power. We love the Live music and Swimming pool in desert area. Food was superb, taste was amazing. They have large area covered with lots of activities, it's a must visit place.

Weather (there are no rains, so for outsiders may be the best time to visit is October onwards)
