Serene, Thatched Apartment in Noordhoek, Cape Town

Everything was beautiful and it was peaceful.The apartment was equipped with everything you could possibly think of. Ilse, our host was very accommodating. I will definitely be going back.

Everything was up to standard. Only downfall was that we couldn't enjoy the pool because of the weather. But everything was great.

Excellent location and fabulous hosts. Just a short drive, or walk, to local shops etc. Lovely evening sunsets and views across the wetlands and beach. We enjoyed watching the weaver birds and cape canaries on the dam next door whilst enjoying a drink in the sunshine. Highly recommended.

Noordhoek is a very special place and Serene is in the rural heart yet really close to all activities and facilities. Hosts were gracious, helpful and friendly, leaving some coffee and tea, delicious fruit and eggs! The cottage had Netflix and Amazon Prime which is rarely available in holiday lets, in our experience. Lovely border collies who stayed their side of a fenced garden but would have been welcome to visit us! Kitchen well equipped with air fryer, induction hot plate and microwave as well as plenty of crockery and cutlery. We stayed two very satisfied weeks. Recommend this cottage highly!

There is always some something more! But we do not want to be so pretty or churlish to look for complaints. We were happy!

The atmosphere the quality of the furnishings and the overall experience is more than excellent. We loved it. Ilse and her staff are very friendly and her hospitality is so welcoming. Thank you for this wonderful relaxing time.
