"Just perfect"

The host was so friendly and welcoming and gave us croissants every morning. He was also very helpful and was able to facilitate to all our needs, even coming to pick us up and taking us to the port! Photos don’t do the apartment justice! So nice and clean with fresh bedding and cleaning every day. Also the location was perfect for us- a 5 minute walk from the village with great bus routes to the beach nearby. Will definitely be returning in the future! Lovely to meet Terry and Flora!

The location was great as it was only 5 minutes from the town. The view was also amazing from the balcony.

Numerous things… The shower head leaked and the curtain did not cover the shower which meant we constantly had a saturated bathroom. The aircon didn’t cool the room sufficiently, nor was it available in all the rooms. This meant half our group were sleeping on the floor or in extreme heat. When we asked the head of the property for a fan or to resolve this, they did not. The balcony door had been broken, which meant opening and shutting it was extremely difficult each time. The cleaner came infrequently and did not actually clean the apartment, they only took away the rubbish once it was piling up. Further, they had promised they would be changing both the linen and towels during our stay, however neither of these were upheld. Finally, there was unclear communication with the head of the apartments about payments and transfers. They made us feel like we had done something wrong and randomly came into our apartment at 11:45pm to try and persuade us to pay using methods other than the original agreed upon terms which put us in an uncomfortable position.

It was such a perfect little apartment, beautiful sunset views over Ios. The owners Theo and Flora went above and beyond for us, they were incredible people. I couldn’t recommend this place enough for anyone staying in Ios. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Ios.
