MAThis was a scam! After booking early on Saturday May 3rd 2025, I attempted to contact the host using the number provided in the confirmation email to clarify directions and confirm the location, as the property is somewhat remote. Unfortunately, I received no response, and soon after, my number was blocked. My friend tried calling, and their calls went through, but still no one answered. We then contacted the number via WhatsApp, where a man responded and stated he had no affiliation with Booking.com or the property in question. We also sent messages through the app requesting a call back, but received no reply. We now strongly suspect the property listing is fraudulent, and the map location provided appears to be incorrect. My card was charged, and we hope no one else goes through the same thing! We're still trying to get Booking's attention to this!
