Modern Studio Steps to UW

Checkin instructions were great! No air conditioning in the room, it was 85 temperature, difficult to sleep without ac. Beds are spring ones, not at all comfortable

Place was clean and quiet. Conveniently located by QFC. Could have used a few more basic kitchen supplies, as I was preparing meals for my hospitalized partner.

This was a quick trip. The room is a studio apartment in a new apartment building. Note that NO parking options are provided so street parking is your only option. Fortunately, this apartment is on a fairly safe street.

Everything was absolutely fine. Only a slight oversight that they forgot to add shower gel, but we made do with the hand soap and shampoo at the apartment.

The location is convenient and the studio offered a bed, desk, full kitchen with refridgerator, oven, and dishwasher, and a washer/dryer set. However, the kitchen was very understocked, limited dishware and cookware. The studio got very cold at night. There is a fitness center despite not being advertised at all, though it is small and has 1 treadmill, 1 elliptical, and a small set of free weights. Overall, it served its purpose, but was not a luxurious stay in any way.

The tiny little wall heater struggled to keep the place warm. It was freezing most of the time until I finally figured out how to change the program on the thermostat. Also, there was no shampoo, conditioner, lotion, Kleenex, or laundry soap. I figured it out, but would have been nice to have those items. The bed was quite soft. I slept well, but feel like a longer stay might not have been good. There were no extra blankets or pillows. I loved that it was in walking distance to the grocery store and shopping! Overall I would stay again, just wish the convenience items were there.

Property management doesn’t answer any call pertaining to bookings. Extremely unprofessional

Room was trashed when we arrived, and there was no one to contact via phone or at the property until the next morning. Had to get a different hotel for the length of our stay. Wasn’t able to reach anyone til after 2pm the next day. Was told “we were given the wrong room” even tho it had been assigned week in advance…. And that a refund will take 7-10 business days so hopefully it’s sooner rather than later :/ Also parking that we paid for isn’t something they’ll reimburse us for so we’re out $40 more for that.

Loved it but my only complaint is no TV.
