The Cambria

The flat was comfortable and well-set up. Though very different from our own house's style, it was somewhere we felt immediately at home and where we could relax between our various outings in and around Ipswich. The location, right next to the quayside, was excellent. The owners were really helpful, friendly and quickly responsive when we contacted them. We especially liked: The comfortable armchair and sofa; The walk-round kitchen console; Loads of power sockets; The living room not being focussed round a TV (and had we used the projector, I think that would have been great... We just didn't get around to it!) That kitchen essential cooking supplies were left for our use; The generously-sized shower cubicle; The decor and the spacious feeling from the neat use of mirrors; The local information packs.

Nothing much to put here. A few extra bits and pieces in the kitchen would have brought it up from "very good" to "excellent"; but we've let the owners know specifics, and given their helpfulness throughout our booking and stay, I expect they'll take care of this. The parking is close by, but not immediately outside, maybe 150m away:- no big deal for us, but could be worth thinking about if you have mobility issues.
