DEIf you come to Puerto Maldonado to experience the Peruvian jungle, this lodge is the best place for it. Ongoing activities every day take you for walks in the jungle and on boat rides on the river with an experienced guide who shows you around and explains everything. We saw lots of animals with the help of the guide we would never have been able to discover on our own. The lodge itself is seated right in the jungle and you can feel, breathe, and hear it all through your visit. At the same time, the rooms are clean and comfortable with air conditioning and a balcony to chill on. The pool is also really nice with an integrated pool bar. The food was also great so there was nothing left to wish for.

AUI can’t praise this place enough. There are many lodges in the area, but this one is exceptional, as the rooms are only a fee years old(very modern), air conditioned, comfortable luxurious beds and fitout. The food is superb, and all the staff seem to love their jobs, and couldn’t do enough for you. Loved the pool also, looking over the river. Our guide, Yuri, was so inspiring and very informative about the Amazon in the area. Make sure you do the Sandoval lake tour, but it is best very early morning before the heat takes over.

PEEL hotel esta en la rivera del rio tambopata, me encanto super confortable, la habitacion con aire acondicionado perfecta para relajarse con la vista de sus jardines, recomendable ir por mas dias por trabajo solo m escape una noche pero me organizaron un tour para ver el sunset y buscar fauna en la noche que fue expectacular, al dia siguiente madrugamos para ir al lago sandoval donde la pase espectacular valio la pena madrugar vi varios tipos de aves monos y caimanes, la comida probe su almuerzo y cena me encanto la sazon del cheffm en si una experiencia recomendable volvere pero para estar mas dias
Half an hour a at from Puerto Maldonado by boat , the place is lovely, with river view and a feel of the jungle without venturing too far. We felt like we got a good insight into the area, with included excursions on the river and into the jungle. Our guide Yuri, who was with us throughout, was very knowledgeable and good. The food was great and they had several veg options . Well stocked bar too . The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We had a great stay.
We have loved the tours, the guides were amazing. We got to see Capybara, Caiman, Night Monkeys, Howling Monkeys, Capuchin Monkeys, tarantulas, & Giant River Otters The lunches and dinners are great, everything was delicious. Breakfast is terrible with a very small selection and hot food not hot, cold food not cold. Pool is lovely just needs more lounges. Staff friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the lodge so much we extended our stay an extra night.
24/7 electricity as well as WiFi which many other properties didn’t have. Close to the city but still in the jungle. Pool. Good excursions and tour guides. Dog on site who lives at the property. Good meals.
