IEStaff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean with a lovely sea view. Dinner was fab, but not a great choice, very tasty and plentiful nonetheless.

USFamily suite with 3 beds upstairs, one bed downstairs. Breakfast included. Pub has lively music downstairs some nights, an advantage if you want an easily accessible location to enjoy the local culture. Friendly, accommodating staff. Achill Island is a beautiful part of Ireland and The Strand is an place to stay for a day or two if exploring the island, especially for families.

It was dirty , smelly , damp , stale breakfast, no hot water , no plates had to butter bread on the table . Worst imaginable stay
