"Excellent weekend away"

The location was really good, lots of things to do and places to eat nearby. Quiet location, excellent facilities within the lodge, very very clean and the little extra touches (wine & chocolate!) were really thoughtful. The owner was helpful and friendly. We also loved the games that were included with the room, made for a really fun night in!

Little bit of noise from passing trains but nothing that bothered us too much.

It was close to all the places I wanted to visit during my stay. It was very clean and tidy and there was everything I needed to make my stay very good. Extra towels, robes and slippers available. Hot tub was easy to use and very clean.

The parking was not sufficient and impossible to park my vehicle outside the property. I had to leave it in another road 5 minutes walk away.

Owen was away during our stay but his communication and regular checking in to make sure we needed nothing was impressive. My spouse and I were so touched by his care and it made the stay so relaxing and seamless. Thank you so much

"Amazing!"

We absolutely loved our stay in the cabin. Felt so homely and relaxing! All the facilities you could need we cooked both nights we stayed at the property and not once did we feel we were missing any utensils. Plus point is dog friendly which is a massive for us! She felt settle the whole time we were there! As for some of the other reviews regarding the train. As for the noise it didn’t both us one bit. Owen was so accommodating made sure we got settle in ok etc. Would definitely recommend
