The view from the window and location

Overpriced for hostel student quality accommodation. Cramped. No kettle, boiling water in a spaghetti pan for drinks. No hot water for showers or washing up. Light in foyer constantly triggered waking us up. No key so got locked out of complex. We were stopped from using the pool or poolside and terrace on four days out of the five due to weddings and birthdays. Issues from previous reviews not resolved so host is only interested in taking top dollar not looking after their guests. As hosts ourselves we would have been mortified if we had provided what we received. Get things in order for future guests.

Staying in the castle was like a fairytale dream. To see the castle on the clifftop as we rode towards Vico Equense was so special, and it was amazing to be able to stay in and explore such a magical building. The room was small and basic but perfectly functional. And due to the amazing location with so much to explore in Vico Equense and in the castle we spent little time in the room anyway. Great communication via Whatsapp for arrival details and local restaurant recommendations. Made our stay very memorable!

The hotel's private beach was closed, which we were not notified of before arrival. We were given a good suggestion of an alternative beach close by but this was also closed. We were also not allowed to access certain facilities at one point during our stay (the swimming pool and parts of the castle) due to a wedding, which we had not been made aware of in advance, and given a very long hot day we were very much looking forward to a swim! If we had known in advance we could have made plans accordingly. The staff who dealt with us as we were about to get into the pool were not friendly or helpful, sadly.

The location is amazing, the castle is beautiful with stunning views and a comfortable pool, there’s a lift to the private beach, it’s small but more than enough. It’s shaded till about 12pm but you can stay by the pool till then. Coffee at the restaurant is very good. The room was clean and the bed comfortable.

The room was absolutely tiny - a double bed barely fit in there. I was surprised there were no beach towels provided considering they have a pool and a beach with sun beds. Also no kettle to make tea or coffee and no sugar - even though there’s a kitchenette.

Fantastyczne miejsce! To jest prawdziwy ZAMEK, do którego wstęp mają wyłącznie osoby w nim mieszkające. Pokój z widokiem na Wezuwiusz i Neapol. Wysoki klif, na którym jest zamek, robi niesamowite wrażenie. Na dole prywatna plaża z pomostem WYŁĄCZNIE dla gości zamku. Budziliśmy się i zasypiali przy otwartym oknie i słysząc tylko szum fal. MEGA :) Uwaga: na plażę zjeżdża się prywatną windą w skale. Ponadto w zamku jest restauracja i bar a ceny są rewelacyjne. 10 EUR/osoba za kompletny obiad (pierwsze, drugie, dodatek, owoce a w niedzielę + deser). Bardzo fajna aplikacja, którą można sobie pobrać i załadować dowolną kwotą w zamku i potem wystarczy mieć przy sobie telefon, żeby zapłacić. Bardzo kontaktowy i bardzo miły właściciel, z którym wszystko można było ustalić/dogadać. My byliśmy bez auta, ale uwaga w zamku na dziedzińcu są bezpłatne miejsca parkingowe, co w tej lokalizacji jest naprawdę ważne i cenne! Czuliśmy się bezpiecznie i komfortowo i to były niesamowite wakacje ! Bardzo fajny pomysł, aby stary zamek z XIII w. przekształcić w obiekt, który "żyje" i ma takie możliwości.

Il Castello è un complesso bellissimo e con una posizione invidiabile

Ci hanno contattato dicendo che la camera prenotata non era disponibile in quanto da Booking avevano ricevuto una doppia prenotazione e dunque ci hanno proposto una stanza con ingresso scala a chiocciola…. A dir poco scandaloso che si possa vendere un tipo di camera del genere!! Assenza di norme di sicurezza e per arrivarci una scalata tipo monte Everest. Indecente! Dunque in breve al costo di una camera “standard “ ci hanno rifilato un soppalco claustofobico ! Da premettere che io mi adatto, ma vi assicuro che non mi è mai capitato una “fregatura “ del genere! State attenti davvero!!! Personalmente non ci ritornerò Unica nota positiva i ragazzi del bar e della piscina presenti nel complesso che nulla hanno a che vedere con chi gestisce le camere/monolocali

Découvrir au dernier moment qu'il n'y a pas un logement, mais deux, l'un au dessus de l'autre. ce qui n'apparait nullement sur l'annonce Booking. Une fois entré, il y a une mini entrée d'1 m² : une porte vers le logement au RDV et un escalier en colimaçon dangereux (la rampe ne tient pas) pour accéder à l'autre logement. Nous avons eu celui à l'étage qui est en fait une chambre et non un studio. C'est très petit, en tous cas pas 25m², pas de coin salon, pas de lave linge comme annoncé, même pas de table tellement c'est petit. Impossible de faire le tour du lit avec la climatisation. Niveau équipement, pas de bouilloire, pas de micro onde, même pas de cafetière italienne.

Die Lage des Appartements im Castello ist auf den ersten Blick beeindruckend: Der Ausblick auf den Golf von Neapel ist zweifellos traumhaft, die Gartenanlage gepflegt, der Pool schön angelegt und das historische Castello steht den Gästen mit seinen stilvollen Gemeinschaftsräumen offen. Auch die Erreichbarkeit mit dem Auto – trotz der engen Zufahrtsgassen – ist mit etwas Fahrgeschick zu bewältigen. Doch all dies vermag nicht darüber hinwegzutäuschen, dass das Appartement selbst in einem bedenklichen Zustand ist und dem geforderten Preis in keiner Weise gerecht wird. Die Unterkunft besteht aus einem einzigen, etwa 20 m² großen Raum mit kleiner Küchenzeile, einem winzigen Bad und einer Schlafcouch, die eher an ein Provisorium als an eine erholsame Schlafgelegenheit erinnert. Die Polster sind durchgelegen, das Gestell instabil und defekt, sodass ich links wegen rausgebrochenen Latten mit dem Kopf nach unten schlafen musste (siehe Fotos). Besonders irreführend ist die Darstellung des Appartements auf der Buchungsplattform: Der „eigene Wohnbereich“ entpuppt sich als geteiltes Entrée mit einer nur durch eine hauchdünne Schiebetür abgetrennten Nachbarwohnung darüber. Die Wohnung selbst ist ein 1 Zimmer Appartement. Die Ausstattung ist insgesamt durchwachsen: Positiv hervorzuheben ist die relativ gut bestückte Küche mit ausreichend Kochutensilien. Allerdings ist der Kühlschrank beschädigt, wenn auch funktionstüchtig, und die wackelige Spüle sowie das insgesamt rennovierungsbedürftige Erscheinungsbild hinterlassen einen wenig vertrauenswürdigen Eindruck. Das Badezimmer ist extrem beengt, die Duschkabine verschimmelt – einzig der gute Wasserdruck verdient Erwähnung. Eine grundlegende Reinigung des Appartements scheint seit geraumer Zeit nicht mehr erfolgt zu sein: Schmutzige Wände, fehlende Reinigungsutensilien (nicht einmal ein Besen war vorhanden) und der insgesamt abgewohnte Zustand sind nicht hinnehmbar.

La struttura è indubbiamente in una posizione fantastica ed il proprietario è una persona davvero piacevole e gentile.

L’appartamento richiede un po’ più di manutenzione, una presa vicina al letto non funzionava ed in bagno un box doccia moderno e con delle nuove sigillature in silicone sicuramente non guasterebbe (quelle attuali sono ammuffite). Il corrimano della scala a chiocciola è traballante inoltre, quello andrebbe sistemato e fissato per motivi di sicurezza. Basta poco comunque per far tornare quel posto ad essere un gioiellino poichè merita proprio ed è un peccato ❤️
