"Private, Peaceful, Picturesque."

Gorgeous location, welcoming and helpful hosts, delightful cottage with everything you could ever need. I never wanted to leave. Felt as though I was in another world up there!

The Blind corners on the road to the cottage because we don't really have them in Australia!

"A perfect retreat"

Peace and quiet. No distractions. Pleasant owners/staff. Compact and comfortable little traditional house with a thatched roof and amazing views. Great for relaxation and reading. I did some sightseeing around this beautiful part of County Cork, too.

I am not going to criticise as I knew exactly what I wanted and I got it. It can be difficult to get good self catering accommodation at this time of year in Ireland. The setting is remote, no shops nearby , perfect for me needing a complete break from my stressful job.

Lovely room, clean and comfortable. They offer dinner for 12-14€, excellent food and plentiful. One of the roads to the property is narrow and winding but it is really quiet and in all my times coming or going i never saw another car.
