We had such a wonderful stay at Mare Calmo Apartments and honestly, it felt much more than just accommodation. From the very first moment, Rita and Christos made us feel like family. Their hospitality, kindness, and genuine care for their guests are something truly special, and during our stay we built such a lovely friendship with them. The apartment was spotless, spacious, modern, and incredibly comfortable. I have visited Chios several times over the years, but I can confidently say that I have never stayed in a place this clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully prepared. Every detail showed how much care and attention the owners put into making their guests feel at home. One of the things that touched us the most was Rita’s thoughtful welcome. Since we were arriving on our first day, she had already left breakfast items like jelly bread and water in the apartment for us. It may seem like a small gesture, but after traveling, it was exactly what we needed and made us feel immediately welcomed and cared for. The location is fantastic as well. The beach is only a 2-minute walk away, making it perfect for morning swims and sunset walks. We especially loved the large balcony, it became our favorite place to relax in the evenings, enjoy the fresh air, and simply take in the peaceful atmosphere. Everything about this place exceeded our expectations. The apartment is beautiful, the location is perfect, and Rita and Christos are some of the warmest and most generous hosts we have ever met. We already know that every time we return to Chios, this will be the place we choose to stay. Thank you for making our trip so memorable, we cannot wait to come back!
