Casa da Praia dos Moinhos

Really beautiful location, the balcony overlooking the ocean was amazing. The place was perfect for our family reunion.

View of the sea, easy to get to beach and great bar there. Lovely waterfall to walk to - 2 min to entrance and then you can take a refreshing dip! Outdoor kitchen area and hot tub a bonus. Accessible from all points of the island so you are close to the attractions from Furnas to Sete Citidades to Lago Fogo.

No local bakeries or small markets nearby. Need to drive to Ribeira Grande if you need anything, but the beach bar does great food!

A fantastic location a few minutes’ walk to the gorgeous Porto Formoso beach and right next door to a great seafood restaurant, Mare Cheia (try the limpets!) We loved the outdoor patio area (the top balcony has a nice view) with eating area, hanging lines for laundry and hot tub. The house was super clean, new and comfortable for 8 people. Kitchen area had a nice layout, well-stocked. There’s a large free parking lot a few minutes’ walk away. Also, it was great that there were beach towels and a washer. A dryer would make it even better. On top of that Ines was a great host. She sent not only a list of recommended restaurants but also a six day itinerary of things to do. We had a slight issue with hot tub but she was responsive and solved it quickly.

To make this a 10 these were minor things to improve: I wish there was a more accurate listing of bathrooms. It’s 2.5, and one of the full baths is outside. Also, beds and pillows weren’t that comfy. I wish pillows at least were fluffier. Towels—I wish they were thicker and fresher. Ours smelled mildewy, so we had to rewash them.

Dom spełnił moje oczekiwania, był czysty i przestronny. Gospodyni pomocna i bardzo miła, odpowiadała szybko na wszystkie pytania, sama zaproponowała wymianę ręczników w połowie mojego pobytu. to był cudowny wyjazd. Wyspa przepiękna.

There was nothing we didn't like. When we had a mechanical issue with the house the hosts responded immediately and took care of it.

Lovely, roomy and comfortable for our group of eight. Well appointed everything we could want for our 10 day stay. And the location is magnificent. Short walk to the beach and ocean. Lovely view too!

Wifi was best in the living room. A bit spotty in other rooms but no big deal. We were there to relax!

The Casa was very spacious and comfortable for our group of 6 (two adult couples, one toddler and one infant). Everything was well furnished. Although the weather prevented us from thoroughly enjoying the outdoor spaces, the jacuzzi was quite lovely. Also, the hosts are great at replying quickly and provided many helpful recommendations. Highly recommend!

Die Unterkunft ist perfekt für eine größere Gruppe. Die Aufteilung ist super, es gibt genug Rückzugsmöglichkeiten und viel Platz im Wohnzimmer und in der Küche für eine große Gruppe. Der Jacuzzi und der Panoramabalkon sind ein echtes Highlight. Die Ausstattung ist gehoben. Wir haben uns alle sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und haben uns immer schnell geholfen.

Es gibt nichts auszusetzen.
