Villa Fakay by Villa Plus

There is air con in the lounge as well as all three bedrooms which is worth adding into your description. The property was quiet and only 20 minutes walk from the main centre of the resort, a nice easy walk too, nice and flat. We walked several times a week into town or if you prefer a taxi costs 5 euros. The pool was heated and 28 degrees, as warm as an indoor UK large swimming pool! The shower was decent and the en-suite was a bonus. The villa is a really good size and feels private enough even though it looks out onto the golf course. The beds were very comfy. The kitchen was well enough equipped. It was nice having a smart tv so could access Amazon Prime, Netflix etc

The pool was great temperature wise and a decent size but awkward to enter/exit(we are in our sixties). The towels need to be replaced, they were very thin and a bit like sandpaper! Definitely past their best. The cushions on the loungers on the roof terrace were really grubby, so much so we were completely put off using them unfortunately. The sink in the en suite was slightly blocked and needs attention. The water took a while to go down the drain (main bathroom sink and kitchen sink were fine in comparison). A little tricky to use the oven as the instructions in the manual did not really correspond with the cooker in the villa, there appeared to be no symbols on the actual cooker so it involved a bit of guesswork!! Same with the microwave too! This next comment didn’t actually bother us but it may bother some people so worth mentioning…..it is on the flight path and planes are continuously passing overhead coming into land. Kids will probably love it, adults may not!! As I say, we didn’t mind.

Comfortable beds, good, quiet location within walking distance of shops and restaurants, nice open lounge overlooking the patio and the pool. The pool was warm and the sun loungers were very comfortable.

The Villa is on the flight path, so it was a bit noisy when the planes came in, but otherwise very quiet. Hand-wash in the kitchen and one of the bathrooms but no washing up liquid or dishwasher tablets!

The villa was thoroughly cleaned on arrival, the location was ideal and very comfortable.

There was a lack of cooking equipment and utensils.

Well equipped in a good location looking into golf course.

Perhaps providing some cleaning products and dishwasher tablets.
