Darwin at Stud Farm Barns

Large comfortable bedrooms each one en-suite. Televisions in each room. Big beautiful kitchen with underfloor heating. Fully equipped kitchen. Warm welcome from the owners even providing a Christmas tree with decorations and disposable cooking trays for Christmas dinner. Beautiful views from the upstairs lounge overlooking the ponds and beautiful countryside. A perfect gem of a find.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Mooi ruim huisje met uitzicht op 2 meertjes. Keuken voorzien van alle gemakken. Iedere kamer een eigen badkamer met wc. Aangezien er na ons niet gelijk iemand in kwam, mochten wij later uitchecken. Erg fijn!

Veel spinnenwebben/spinnen aan de hoge plafonds. Helaas iemand in het gezelschap die bang is voor spinnen.

The Darwin at Stud Farm Barns is a wonderful property. It’s large, spacious and has everything you could need for a relaxing break in the country. It’s set in beautiful grounds, with views out over 2 lakes. All 3 bedroom have en-suite facilities and the huge kitchen/dining area is well-equipped for self-catering. Lovely pub serving great food just a short walk away, would highly recommend a visit.

Warmly welcomed by the owners on arrival. This is our second visit to the barns and just as good if not better than our first with the glorious weather we had during the week. This enabled us to make the most of the lovely setting - enjoying fishing in the lakes and watching the wildlife on the water! Our four-legged friend loved playing in the grounds. The barn itself was very well-equipped for self-catering - everything you could need. We were a family party of 4 adults and found the barn very spacious. Bedrooms, all ensuite and with tvs, were very comfortable. Plenty to explore in the area - lovely local walks along the canal; explored local towns; Blists Hill - Victorian town; N.T. Attingham Park - all dog-friendly and recommended. Wharf Tavern, serving a good selection of bar meals in a lovely setting by the side of the canal was very handy - a short walk and would recommend. Thoroughly enjoyed our week at Stud Farm Barns - thank you Mark and Lynn - we hope to return for another visit very soon.

Large comfortable property with walks from the door and a decent pub within 10 minutes walk

Lovely place to stay and great to have three bedrooms all en-suite. Well equipped kitchen and loads of space. Really quiet peaceful place and nice pub less than 10mins walk away. Hosts very helpful

We had a couple of issues, but to be fair to the hosts each time they were there straight away to sort things out. One of the mattresses wasn’t the most comfortable but that was the only issue with the rooms

All was excellent and the host family could not have been more friendly.

We have a lovely stay at this charming barn in the countryside. Stayed for a family wedding in the nearby town. The location is absolutely stunning — nestled beside a peaceful lake with friendly ducks that made our mornings. The barn itself was clean, it had all the modern comforts while retaining a rustic charm. The space felt cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect retreat to relax and unwind. Highly recommend
