Ajuga Luxury Boutique B&B

We had a very relaxing 4 day stay at this delightful and very charming B and B. You can feel how much love, care and attention to detail the owners have put into the place. Our room was tastefully decorated with solid wood furniture and had all the extras that always count like little coffee maker, wine glasses, fridge shampoos and shower wash etc. The view down into the little bay is outstanding and a real treat to be able to wake up to birdsong, open the sliding doors and see it from the comfort of the bed. Wonderful breakfast served in the dining/living room downstairs which had a very homely feel. The owners were very sweet and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. They also run a restaurant in the village which is only a ten minute walk away and the food was delicious as well as well priced with discounts for guests. Half an hour walk down the hill to a small bay for swimming and short Uber rides to nearby sites as well as the best beach on the island, Ramla Bay. The other important point about the location is that it is very quiet and free from construction sounds :) Highly recommended! X

Everything about this place was fantastic. Good location, nice view, incredible and the hosts were really friendly! They also run some of the best restaurants in town. Highly recommend this property

A beautiful property run by a lovely couple. We had a large and really comfortable room with a large bathroom and plenty of storage. Lovely pool (although during our stay it was too chilly/windy to take advantage of it). Josette arranged an airport transfer for us which worked perfectly. Breakfast is very generous, and freshly cooked. Location is quiet and in walking distance to the centre of Qala (where our hosts also run a fantastic restaurant). Bolts are easy to arrange, and busses are frequent.

Not very much to criticise! But I would have liked better lighting in our room as it was rather dim. Also, as I said, breakfast is very generous but rather wasteful, as it seems that everything you could want is put in front of you just in case - it would be less wasteful to tell guests what’s available on the day and ask them what they want.

Hade inte uppfattat att läget var så långt från bad.Vill gärna bli tillfrågad VAD jag vill ha för frukost( de kollade när vi kom bara om frukost med kakor eller bröd.Jag hade föredragt få plocka själv och vart nu serverad en stekt toast som inte var min grej.Dagen efter bad jag om Toast.Det fanns inte en butik för att köpa vatten,glass eller något eller det fanns en men såg aldrig att den var öppen.Det är väldigt öde. Vi var där 3 nätter och fick ingen städning/bäddning.

The accommodation is located in a quiet, beautiful area with a great breakfast, beautiful rooms, and an outdoor pool. It is recommended to have a car, but you can also manage to get around with a bus or taxi. The rooms are spacious, have a big bathroom, plenty of towels, a hairdryer, and all the necessary amenities for a great stay. The host owns a restaurant in a town nearby where you can get nice food or drinks, and they offer a discount for the guests of the accommodation. There are nice beaches 15-20 minutes on foot close to the accommodation. The view from the accommodation is beautiful.

The host was slightly cold and rude, but if you can get used to that way of communication and ignore it, you can get all the necessary information. We asked before coming if there was an option to wash our laundry at the property, and the host said they would take care of it. We gave her our laundry on the first day, but we were not informed of the price or when we would get the laundry. The next day, we inquired when we would get our laundry back, but got a very vague answer that it could be today, tomorrow, or maybe even the last day of our stay. In case you have some laundry to wash, make sure to be very well informed and ask the host many questions in advance so you don't end up in the same situation. One more thing, which is common in all of Malta, the air conditioning is working constantly, and the temperature in the accommodation is much lower than outside, which caused most of the guests to get a cold.

The house is indeed a Luxury gem. The surrounding area has beautiful and not crowded beaches to enjoy (Hondoq-ir Rummien - pebble with sandy parts, Ramla Beach - sand)

This has to be the best Boutique B&B I have ever stayed at. Josette and her husband were amazingly kind and attentive. Breakfast was served daily and personally by the owners and in the room we found complimentary crackers, cookies and a bottle of sparkling water. The entire accommodation was sparkling clean. Jossette and husband, thank you for having us!
