The Cottage On the Common

The hosts, Michelle and Tash were very welcoming. The cottage was perfect for our New Year Break. Cosy and clean with all facilities and appliances we needed and just down the road from a traditional country pub serving delicious food.

Nothing everything was great.

Lovely location. Very secluded and quiet. Extremely well equipped. Lots of really good pans and heaps of utensils. Host welcoming and responded quickly to small issues. Little touches like umbrellas, binoculars and a flashlight were delightful. Lots of books and games for wet days

Nothing except I wish there could be an alternative to a duvet. I find them too hot and would like the choice of a sheet and light blanket. This is a general observation, not specific to this lovely cottage.

A lovely welcome to a lovely cottage. The property was warm, clean and inviting. The owner was extremely welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Great value and it was quiet and very relaxing. Nice local pub with great food within ten minutes walk, don't forget to take a torch 🔦

Friendly and helpful. Clean and tidy. Nice view to rear garden. Comfy bed.

No private outside space but the trees were lovely.

It has all you need to feel like at home

Clean and comfortable. Every thing there what you would need, if not then owners were very approachable. So peaceful. You would , from the road and even from the track, never know it was there.

The track ! Just need to be made aware that it is a bit rough so to take your time.
