Riverbank Cottage, Dog Friendly. Swansea, Llanelli

A great cosy cottage.Very clean, well equipped with a lively garden facing a stream. It is not a massive house but enough space and very well designed. We were 3 adults and a baby. The location is very convenient to exploring this part af Wales : Gower, mountains, coast, etc. but a car is a must. We travelled a lot to visit different places while I was doing Croeso 2024 - a big 6 day orienteering event. We had 2 cars and had no problem whatsoever with parking on the street opposite the cottage every day. Even the weather was good. We'll be back.

Well equipped, beautiful cottage with everything you need and more. The extras like board games and books and the milk and welsh cakes gave it the extra touch. The area was lovely and a great base for exploring the stunning surrounding areas.

My only negative would be the noise/lights from the traffic at night. It’s on quite a busy road and this resulted in slight disturbance when going to sleep as both bedroom windows are at the front of the property.

Parking was ok but a lot of the possible options were permanently not available.

There was no sink plug in the kitchen and the bowl was not suitable. The seat in the second bedroom took up too much space. The remainder was lovely.

Really well kept, clean and well located.

The cottage was beautifully renovated and had absolutely everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable. We loved the log burner and games box. The host was very helpful.

The only thing we found difficult was the parking however we had a van so needed a bit of extra space. !

The location was perfect. Close to the Brecon Beacons close to the Gower coast snd just 5 mins from the M4. The back garden views were just like the photos. Very peaceful and cathartic to be so close to the river. The park to walk the dog was less than 100m from the front door with a MUGA was excellent for teenage boys for a kick about with Dad. We loved the idea of extra throws for the sofas for dogs, for those of us indulgent enough to let our dogs jump up!

I hadnt spotted the bathroom was on the ground floor, and the 2nd bedroom is on the small side but that would not have stopped us booking in the first place, and we would also rebook.

5 star! Clean and beautiful the view out the back is gorgeous just a shame we couldn’t enjoy it due to the rain !

Blinds on external river facing windows to be used at night would be great , especially as a solo traveller

Very cosy welcoming clean and tidy would come again
