Cwmcarn Hotel & Bunkhouse

Quirky, modern and engaging room design. Comfortable bed. Lots of natural light. Great bathroom and shower unit. A lovely wam welcome on arrival immediately setting the tone. Has a cool courtyard area with great graffiti art on the walls and a lovely friendly pub dog. Awesome views of the hills around the area which makes this feel like a proper holiday experience. Easy access to the room via key code to the courtyard then key for the room. We will be back!

A little noisy outside due to courtyard sitting area. Shower is an eco unit so you have to keep pressing the button to keep the water running. Don't mind the concept but it doesn't last long enough between presses. Parking is only on the nearby roads which could make finding a space an issue at times though was fine for us - quick and easy.

Exceptional value, very clean, friendly hosts

We were made welcome as soon as we walked in, the room was stylish and individual rather than corporate grey, and immaculately clean.

Wonderful welcome from Anja even though we arrived early. The bar was closed, but brought drinks to us outside in the wonderful seated area and showed us our room. Later in the bar "Happy hour" (4 til 7 ?) The room was spotlessly clean with everything provided, and the shared bathroom was the same with excellent showers. Will visit again !!!
