What a gem of a bed and breakfast in the dales in a quiet, tranquil village, Bainbridge, unlike the busy Hawes. Roxanne was a delightful host, very accommodating and very knowledgeable about walks and the area. Do ask if you stay. The breakfasts were delicious and set you up for the day. The room was very clean and very comfortable with a small fridge with a small bottle of fresh milk provided as well as coffee tea and biscuits. Sunday lunch at the Middle house in Askrigg, 1 mile away was delicious as were the evening meals. They have a car park at the back as parking can be difficult.

"Great location, attentive host and a second to none breakfast"

Roxana was a very attentive host. The traditional full English breakfast was excellent, locally sourced produce well cooked.

Sound proofing between rooms is non-existent to the extent of allowing conversations to be heard. Discretion and considerate neighbours are the order of the day, luckily during our stay we had both
