The mattresses were comfortable.

There was a persistent smell from the kitchen drain. The washing machine was filled with foul-smelling water from the sink. The kitchen lacked basic equipment such as a peeler, grater, bowls, and a dish rack. The pans were in a terrible condition. A thick layer of dust was present under the bed and in all hard-to-reach places; even I started coughing despite not being allergic. The duvets and pillows were uncomfortable.
