The swimming pool was nice and the place certainly had a 'wow factor' when walking through the door. The bedrooms were nicely renovated, beds comfortable, nice linens. The place was super clean upon check-in.

It didn't start well, when our check in was delayed as the guy tasked with checking us in arrived 30 minutes late. Further small detail was that the fully equipped kitchen did not have a kettle. Usually when checking into this type of property there is a 'bare essentials' kit. Maybe some tea bags, sugar, a bottle of milk. Not here unfortunately. Not even a bottle of water. There is a pump bottle of shower gel in the shower, but no shampoo or anything else. Not fantastic, despite the price, but then again forgivable as im pretty sure that the advert didn't say that such things are included. I assumed. Lesson learned. The shampoo wasn't missed much anyway because you couldn't spend much time in the shower due to there being no hot water. At all. I messaged the concierge to tell him, and he said, 'yes, it's not sunny today. Hopefully it will be sunny tomorrow'. Tomorrow came; it was sunny, but still no hot water. He sent some 'technicians' to check it out. They confirmed that there was no hot water and that the machine (assume water heater) was broken. It wasn't repaired during our 1 week stay. So for 1 whole week, we didn't have any hot water. Beautiful bathroom with bath and shower. Unused; wasted money. From the first day the Air Conditioning in the bedroom was also not cold. It was cool, but akin to a fan, not an air conditioning system. I told the concierge about this and the technicians came to check. It remained not cold for the rest of the week, until the second to last day. When it stopped functioning totally. No Air conditioning at all. So, all in all. The property is up there as among the most expensive rentals in Los Gigantes. But they failed on the very basic things of having hot water and cold Air Con. We had cold water and no air con. I also didnt like that the swimming pool and balcony are literally 3 feet away from the main road into Los Gigantes so road noise is a big issue when outside.
