"Breakfast on the balcony"

Danilo is a super host - great communication, and gave us useful advice on things to do & see in and around Trapani. The apartment is in a great location, handy for the ferry port, the old town, the fish market, and the Mura di Tramuntana beach. The apartment itself is light and airy with high ceilings and tall windows, and the balcony gives a wonderful view over the harbour out to sea - great for a leisurely breakfast, or sitting in the evening with a takeaway pizza from one of the many local restaurants!

Not a problem for us, but be aware the apartment is on the 3rd floor with no lift, so not recommended for anyone with mobility issues!

"Amazing apartment overlooking the promenade on the water"

The host was very easy to communicate with and quite helpful in every way. Fantastic views from the three different double doors going out to the huge terrace. The high ceilings and decor were exquisite in this historic area. You can park your car directly below the apartment using the app.

It is very stylish with a beautifully restored ceiling and amazing flooring. Like staying in a palazzo. Super responsive owner who made us feel so welcomed. It is all the personal touches like having toiletries, good quality coffee, a bottle of wine, and a lot of bottled water that make this our best apartment yet in Sicily.

"A shocking experience"

To enter the ground floor apartment (more accurately a room) you had to first unlock a bar door. This did not make you feel safe. The "bed" was an uncomfortable opening couch- bed. The room had cob-webs and it was impossible to breathe due to the dampness. The room had one barred window. We found the kitchen sink dirty. The pictures on booking.com had very little to do with the reality we encountered and were forced to look for accommodation elsewhere. The very fact that this type of accommodation qualifies to get any kind of permit simply shocks me. It is not only bad value for money but should have its permit revoked. I have a wide selection of disgraceful photos. We are even thinking of taking legal action. This is the first time we have been scammed by a choice via booking.com and feel extremely disappointed.
