Betty's Cottage - Traditional Norfolk Farm Cottage

We loved being close to the beaches and Betty's cottage is very homely

The land available to use was amazing. Bonus of a private swimming pool, that was able to be booked (for a charge) at the owners property very close by. Nice touch leaving juice and fresh eggs for our arrival. Owners are very nice people.

The cottage had everything we needed, I stayed with my daughter and another mum and her children whilst we attended a dance competition and it really was the perfect base for us.

The cottage was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed walking the dog around the lovely little lake. Would definitely return.

There wasn't really anything not to like! My only suggestion would be to update the information on the listing as it's not entirely accurate. For example, there is WiFi!

There wasn’t anything which I didn’t like about Betty’s Cottage and my recent stay there. The cottage was even nicer than the photos gave it credit for and our hosts hit a perfect balance of being helpful, welcoming and friendly without being intrusive. Sarah was charming and accommodating. The cottage was immaculately clean with a great feel to it. My only criticism was that I was silly enough not to have booked my stay for longer! I really didn’t want to leave! 10/10 exceptional all round!

Nothing we loved it!

Hosts always available to answer queries, nice touches which we considered over and beyond ie bottle of apple juice and biscuits as a welcome pack, logs freely available for a small charge on an honesty box basis which was lovely for a chilly February stay. Internet is available despite the advert stating it isn't - 12yr old pleased about that ! Rural location beautiful and peaceful and property while traditional cosy cottage is spacious enough - we were 1 child and 4 adults. It seemed quite recently restored, sensitively but to a modern and high standard.

maybe could have benefitted from another small sofa/comfy chair or two in sitting room

The hosts were very welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel at home and accommodating. There was land to play for our son and friends, a boat and a little lake, open fire, a private pool to rent. We had a lot of fun. We will definitely be back.
