Cleanliness and comfort for a reasonable price.

Nothing was below par. A TV in the room (or communal kitchen) would have been the icing on the cake.

Staff were very helpful, friendly and fun to talk to, especially the ones working the night shifts during our stay. Relatively quiet, too. Fridge was a good size and the products for making tea/coffee were nice.

This must be the only place in my life in which I have been told (by the day staff on Saturday) that for 2 nights 2 people get 1, JUST 1, toilet roll due to it being a 'short-term' stay even if at least one of these people could be a lady going through 'that time of the month'. Sadly, couldn't complain to management as no one was there for the weekend. I was also told they can't provide any extra toilet roll because it's a student accommodation, which isn't my concern when the property is on booking.com; moreover, we were charged £25 as cleaning fee which is the most expensive one I've ever seen ANYWHERE. Speaking about cleaning, why do you charge so much and leave us filthy glasses? Also, some of the staff told us they've never seen any cleaners around so not sure if proper cleaning is ever done here. Not being able to open the window much was also annoying as it felt like the room barely had any air in. Tap was leaking and would have flooded everything if I didn't keep it partially on but then was barely able to wash my dishes. Shower was spraying in 4-5 different directions as well, luckily was able to fix it somehow to make it better. My advice is don't tell people and treat it as a student accommodation but then have it on Booking.

The mattress was too worn and thin for me so I was constantly tired.
