MAYA Apartments - Sentrum

The apartment is in a really good location a short walk from the station and the opera house on the waterfront.. It is a spacious, well equipped apartment with 2 good sized bedrooms. There is a bus stop just down the road with buses to Bygdøy and its museums.

The curtains barely covered the windows, so a lot of light came in around the edges - not great in a city that gets so much evening/early morning light in the summer - an eye mask is recommended. The entrance/stairwell/lift/garbage areas look seedy and definitely need modernizing, although the apartment itself was fine.

Beliggenheten og det praktiske med innsjekk etc. Enkelt og greit.

Ville gjerne hatt et ark eller noe som hang på veggen med praktiske punkter som feks hvor søppel kunne kastes etc. Døra på soverommet ved kjøkkenet var hengslet rart så man kunne ikke lukke døra der. Ellers alt som trengtes. Trapperommet ned til gata kunne vært lysere.

Perfect location almost walking to every other place

Shower soap Spencer wasn’t working at all. I contact them. I ask to fix it. Just a reply. I’m sorry we cannot do it since you guys stay two days over there. We’re gonna fix it for the next guest. What does it mean next guest? Also, shower floor Had very bad fungus at the shower floor it’s not healthy at all. I told him too, but they said they’re gonna send someone after we leave. What does it mean?

Ligging

Voor 8 personen is de badkamer te klein. Slechts 1 toilet (in de badkamer). Tv werkte niet, is in het weekend niet opgelost (ondanks toezegging). Vaatwasser bleef piepen, ideaal voor degene die in de woonkamer sliep.

Perfekt beliggenhet og stor leilighet. Rent og pent. Veldig greit med digitale nøkler.

Ingenting spesielt

The apartment is conveniently located near the main attractions and the city centre. Oslo Central Train and Bus Station are within walking distance, and tram access is available just behind the apartment. It is spacious, fully equipped, and comfortably accommodates up to six people.

We had informed the host about our late check-in. Unfortunately, the Flytoget train to the city centre was under maintenance, and replacement buses caused some delay. Due to the unexpected situation and limited internet/mobile service, I was unable to update the host. As the key code had not been sent in advance and communication was only available through iMessage during the weekend, we had to wait outside the apartment for a while until a kind resident helped us get into the building. A smoother check-in process and 24-hour customer support would be appreciated for future guests.
