Amazing stay, incredible views of the lagoon. Excellent accommodation, fantastic hosts, most delicious breakfasts, so much thought and planning is put into creating a new menu for each day by the hosts. We felt right at home at this Guesthouse ❣️ Definitely recommend this accommodation. Be back soon!

Overall, I loved my stay at the lazy lion. The room and the view were amazing. The room was large and had a refrigerator, plenty of water to drink, and a hairdryer. The room was also very clean. The couple who owns the guest house are very nice people and make a big effort to talk to all of the guests. The breakfast was really big and healthy. I really enjoyed all of the food and drink offered. The couple offered lots of advice on good things to do and even offered to loan equipment (like fishing rods) to some of the guests. I thought this showed they really care and are good hosts.

The property is a bit outside of Knysna proper. So to go into the restaurants or main area at night… It is better to drive which is a bit of a hassle. Due to the current water shortages, you cannot use the bathtub in the room. I would say that I felt a bit out of place at this property as a solo traveler, and it is probably better for a couple and families.
