Unexpected number of stairs.

The location was perfect for exploring both old and new town right outside the door. Only 10 min walk from train station. The flat is very spacious with nice view of the neighbourhood. Plenty nice restaurants just outside. The flat had high ceiling, wooden floor and large windows for an authentic feeling, but also modern and nicely furnished. Observe no kitchen.

Nothing in particular

The place was extremely clean and spacious, conveniently located in central Edinburgh and near the tram stop and Waverley station. Easy to find and to access. There were bathing products as well in the bathroom.

The pillows on the bed were a little lumpy and very soft. There were only two towels in the bathroom which made it a little complicated; having a couple of towels for the hands would be great. It was a little too expensive but I guess this is now the average price to stay in Edinburgh

Convenient location near Waverley Station and Royal Mile. Walkable to major sites. Spacious flat with room for a family of 4 to spread out, with queen bed, separate space with a single, and sofa bed in the comfy living room. Clean rooms and helpful host. Good value for the size.

No lift up to the 2nd floor flat, so must be able to carry suitcases upstairs. Quirky layout; no kitchen sink so we had to wash dishes in the bathroom. Microwave is in the main bedroom, not the living room/eating room. Small fridge is outside the room, in the shared hallway. Fine for a 2-night stay but would be a challenge longer-term.
