Large, quiet, clean very close to city centre

No hot water in the kitchenette, radiator in one bedroom didn't work No instructions

The apartment was lovely and spacious.Features were wonderful with the log burner.You could do with an extra couch or love seat as some of us had to sit on the chairs from dining table which was uncomfortable

The bed in the bedroom at the back of the property was so uncomfortable and so were the pillows.As our stay was only short it didn’t matter too much but had it been longer then it would of been different.Dish washer doesn’t work it kept going off! Some of the cooking pans need updating as some were rusty and frying pan everything stuck to it.

Lock box access for the keys was easy to use. The apartment was well laid out and having bathrooms for each room was very good.

No instructions were provided as to how to get to the parking space that we had prebooked, so we had to drive round one way streets until we managed to get down a small street that led to the back of the property. We then had to ring up to ask how to access the parking space as it was through a locked gate. The first phone number given on the apartment access instructions was for the retired co-host, she did help us get into the parking area though. Another issue that no warning had been given that the parking was within the city’s Low Emission Zone. On checking the LEZ website we found our car was not compliant, so we will now be fined for the two days we parked, which is extremely upsetting. A note about the LEZ on the site would have meant we could have checked before we went and we could have used a different compliant vehicle. The host has apologised for the oversight about the parking issues as she said they have recently changed it to optional paid parking, so it seems that the automatic message wasn’t sent to me as I got caught in the changeover period. However I have just checked and the booking site is still showing free parking included. So basically the site information is still not updated about the parking and possibly not about the host name either. In my text conversation with the host after my return to highlight these issues she accused me of having an unpleasant attitude because I had said that an efficient host would have made sure that all relevant information was sent to guests and also said that during the facilities changeover period she should have double checked that I had been sent all relevant information, not relied on the previous automatic notifications, as guests should not be expected to ring up for basic information before they can get access to facilties.
