Tiki Escape w/ Amazing Mountain and Marsh Backdrop

This house is cozy, clean, and stocked with everything you could need for an amazing beach getaway! Super easy access to Rockaway, but not right in the middle of town, so doesn't feel as busy. Super stocked with games, beach toys, kitchen gadgets (including rice cooker, air fryer, and espresso machine!). BONUS POINTS, my best friend accidentally left some jewelry in one of the showers-- I was easily able to communicate with the owner, who got her in touch with the cleaners, and got her items back to her right away!

Only things to note is nearly all of the overhead lighting is bare Edison-style bulbs or florescent, so once the sun sets the lighting inside feels like task lighting and not a relaxed vibe. And the towels had been washed with a strongly fragranced detergent, which was hard for one of my sensitive guests to deal with. But both were farily minor, and more personal preference-based!

We rent a beach house probably once a year and this was our favorite so far. It was such a nice set up and had fenced yard for our two small dogs to be able to run around.

The cabin had everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The place was very clean and decorated nicely. Sloan was communicative and helpful. We did spend any time in the side yard. We bought wood but we were just too busy enjoying the area.

A few things needed repairs or refreshing. Nothing major.

We loved how bright and spacious it was. It had all the amenities and was well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. The Marsh view with the birds out back is lovely. The backyard with the fire pit is a nice touch, the Tiki stuff is getting a bit weathered from the elements and I honestly don't think you need them. The back yard is a beautiful great space without them. My daughter loved the giant connect four. Oh and we could see the sunset from our front deck, that was a bonus!

The traffic can be a bit noisy at times but not terrible.

Easy to find, great location on the main road and close to town. It felt very private outside. We didn’t have to worry about making too much noise. It was comfortable with everything you would need.

The outside could use some freshening up

The place was very clean. The host responded quickly to messages. There were numerous games and toys for all ages with a nice provate sideyarf with a huge firepit amd view of the marsh. Even though the place is right on hwy 101, it was not noisy inside and the view of the marsh out the back was very peaceful.
