Lovely fresh decor and sea view.

Nice flat in a good central location with free parking around the back. Good view of the Isle of May from the living room. Easy access to the coastal path and harbour.

Some cutlery and crockery needs adding to ensure there is enough for a family of 4.

Large bed was comfortable. Appliances were clean and new. Lock box for key easy to open IF one had a light to see it.

Stairs and back were completely dark with difficult to navigate footing in the back garden. So dangerous that when a fall occurred the first night due to lack of lighting, the host did not replace batteries until the last night of a12 night stay.small bed has poor mattress & noisy springs when moving. Approach to the flat was unwelcoming complicated by a lack of good directions to enter, no light on cement stairs, paint peeling off the walls, holes in the ceiling. Once inside, it was better. Still, the cleanliness was lacking in some areas such as dirty hairbrushes left in the cupboard, dirty vents in windows.No extractor over hob caused the kitchen and entry to fill with steam when boiling an egg. No dustpan to sweep after self. **No change of sheets or extra linens supplied for a 12 night stay. Book states washing maching available, however, host said to one person that it was not plumbed in, and another that it was not for use by renters, just for cleaners.There is no laundry in the village. It took approximately 10 days for the host to replace the batteries in the stairway lighting even after he was notified of a serious fall, it started us on a negative path. To be fair, the host was kind to talk to.

Nice and clean. Good sized rooms. Nice new bathroom. Could be a really nice apartment as very central but needs some basic repairs, Freeview TV and more instructions for appliances.

Boiler issues on arrival. No instructions for oven, eventually found another plug for it in a kitchen cupboard. No basic TV channels. Could only watch Netflix which wasn't ideal. Loose kitchen taps and front door lock. Entrance stairwell is very shabby. We were pre warned about this by owner but on arrival it is very off putting.

Beautiful quiet area

Very central for what we needed, when contacting owner the response was quick. We had an unexpected guest and it was mo issue to squeeze them in. We also left something behind by mistake and it wasn’t an issue to get it forwarded on, will definitely stay here again.

Overall property was great just lacked a wee bit TLC (decor wise).
