Cosy apartment by the sea

Nice and tidy well presented

Lovely apartment, spacious and clean. Very good for families.

It's not right by the sea, it is a 20 minute walk away on a housing estate. The parking space is a little awkward to get into/out of

Just very slow internet connection.

Check in was easy and the apartment was very clean and well stocked with nice coffee.

Not much. The shower room was on the small side, but there was enough hot water for three long showers!

The place smelt fausty and damp. I did not stay there. It is not a cosy apartment near the sea. It is a converted end of terrace house . A ground floor flat in a back street of Torquay with loads of cars around and an inadequate parking space which is only suitable for a very small car. Compared to other places I have booked it was very poor. Could not recommend it. Feel the advert is misleading and I may report it to trading standards .

Great cosy apartment in Torquay with everything you need for few day or a week. Walkable distance to the town, which was great to get to the seafront or to restaurants. Met some lovely people on our walks. Donna was great, fantastic at communicating. Flowers on arrival was a lovely touch.

Unfortunately I didn't check properly the parking instructions and parked on the street which is for Permit holders only and I got a Penalty charge Notice. But I should have read the instructions properly. Little bit tight spot to park, but manageable. Also people living upstairs couldn't sleep on our last night we stayed there, and the TV was playing so loudly. I am a light sleeper, was not the best night. But other than that, lovely apartment and the host is fantastic.

This property is great for a family, the bedrooms and living room were a good size. There were books, CD’s, DVD’s, jigsaw puzzles and board games to keep everyone happy. One of the sofas in the living room converts into a large double bed, so this property can easily fit up to 6 people. The kitchen was well stocked too, with complimentary teas, coffees, hot chocolate etc, which was a nice touch. There were also a lot of cleaning products, as well as hand soap and washing up liquid, which saves you having to take your own. Another good thing was that this place is pet friendly, and we were able to take our small dog with us.

The only reason I haven’t given this property 10/10 is that we did have a couple of issues. The bathroom was very small, although the shower was good so that kind of made up for it. The main problem we had was that the parking space, around the side of the property, was very small. My daughter’s Honda Jazz could fit on it, but any larger car would struggle to fit. We took two cars as we are a family of 5 adults and a small dog, and fortunately we were able to leave the second car at a relative’s house for 3 nights. The last night we found parking in a nearby street.
