Palazzo Cesare Apartments - Monopoli

Wir waren zwei Nächte in Monopoli und haben uns im Palazzo Cesare sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist ideal , nur 5 Minuten Fußweg von der Altstadt entfernt. Es ist kein Parkplatz dabei, es gibt aber in der Nähe einen öffentlichen kleinen Parkplatz, dort konnten wir unser Auto abstellen. Das Zimmer und das Bad sind sehr schön renoviert und sauber! Wir haben Francesco zwar nicht persönlich getroffen, er hat aber auf unsere Anfragen immer gleich geantwortet und uns geholfen. Gerne wieder!

Great location and amenities. Free Parking wasn’t difficult to find. Amazing communication with the host

It’s on a busy road and can be noisy at night, but when you lock all the windows, it is much quieter

El Desayuno propuesto es en un bar con poca variedad y a 200 metros . No es en el mismo establecimiento

Bien localizado, céntrico, cómodo y limpio. Terraza de uso común para tomarse algo viendo atardecer.

Hébergement bien situé, propre, terrasse agréable

We liked liked everything here

Excellent base location to visit the city from, steps away from the old town. Friendly host who communicated well by WhatsApp. He gave us parking tips and more. We didn't need the mini-kitchen, but it was in good condition. I appreciated the clothes drying rack for when we hand-washed a few things. Good sitting area and high ceilings that gave the place a sense of space. Large shower.

Ours was a ground floor room, so opening the window onto a street full of cars wasn't particularly nice. But if you are just using the place as a base, it's not a big deal. I would suggest replacing the slippery, plastic-lined fitted sheet with something that doesn't slip off of the mattress. It kept slipping off, making it inconvenient and uncomfortable. If its job was to protect the mattress, it definitely failed to do that, anyway. Also might want to repair the shower head, which slipped down the pole due to a faulty bracket.
